Jenna 607 0003

Here's a little test I created for the Jenna607 project. It was purely to see if her rig was working correctly. The biggest challenge at the time was getting the hydraulic connections working correctly. But, we got there in the end.

Jenna 607 0002

Here's the final video to accompany the images in the previous post. The quality was kinda devoured by Youtube but you'll still get the idea.

Jenna 607 0001

It's been a while since the last update, I've been working on the actual animating of the first scene. However, it's still too early for it to be worth posting a video of anything yet. In the meantime I thought I'd add some of my older work in the coming days. Here are some stills from a project called Jenna 607. I produced this work some years ago now with my friend Robert Green while we both attended Wolverhampton University.
Obviously, being as old as it is, some bits aren't exactly amazing. Even still, I was quite pleased with how it came out considering how new to 3d animation and modeling we were back in the day.

Recycling Project 0009

Here's another bit of the outside shot I'm currently working on. As you can see it's still a work in progress, but I'm fairly happy with how it's coming along. I wasn't sure about yellow as the colour for the road lines, but I thought the scene could use a little colour. I'm currently debating wether to introduce grass, but I'm not so sure at this stage.

Recycling Project 0008

Here's the next scene I'm working on, the entrance for the three currently included types of recyclable materials. Here the trucks will unload various materials for future processing. Obviously there's still a long way to go with this scene as it stands, especially regarding the main floor/wall textures (or lack thereof).
Other than that, I was planning on including some light bulbs surrounding each of the wooden signs which will illuminate on cue depending on which conveyor belt is in use. We shall return to this scene several times throughout the animation as each material makes its entrance to the recycling plant.

Recycling Project 0007

A tiny update here, of some signs I've made to place over tunnels (which will be the next thing I work on) which sort the recycling into the main 3 groups ready for processing. I'm not sure if you'll actually see the backs of them in the final thing, so I thought I'd peel off a render to show you.
