Recycling Project 0009

Here's another bit of the outside shot I'm currently working on. As you can see it's still a work in progress, but I'm fairly happy with how it's coming along. I wasn't sure about yellow as the colour for the road lines, but I thought the scene could use a little colour. I'm currently debating wether to introduce grass, but I'm not so sure at this stage.

Recycling Project 0008

Here's the next scene I'm working on, the entrance for the three currently included types of recyclable materials. Here the trucks will unload various materials for future processing. Obviously there's still a long way to go with this scene as it stands, especially regarding the main floor/wall textures (or lack thereof).
Other than that, I was planning on including some light bulbs surrounding each of the wooden signs which will illuminate on cue depending on which conveyor belt is in use. We shall return to this scene several times throughout the animation as each material makes its entrance to the recycling plant.

Recycling Project 0001

Well, here goes. My name is James Clarke, and I hail from sunny England. I'm currently residing in the Midlands. Anyhow, I decided I'd create a little blog to display the kind of stuff I'm working on at the moment. Following this little blurb are a series of images from an animation about recycling I'm working on. The animation itself will be targeted at school children between the ages of 6 - 10 (approximately) and will cover a variety of aspects concerning the recycling of many types of materials. Any criticism or comments about any of my work would be greatly appreciated. Also any suggestions would be very helpful. Anyhow, I'll leave you to the rather massive lump of images!
